Three Elbow Creek 4-H members have applied to attend the 2018 National Shooting Sports Invitational, again to be held in Nebraska. There are now members from other clubs within the state who would like to attend, enlarging the competition to represent California. The Elbow Creek three are anxiously awaiting to see if they will get the call.
In 2012, the Shooting Sports Invitational was held in Grand Island, Nebraska. More than 600 4-H members from 33 states competed in nine events at the five-day competition.
