Registration for the Junior Giants baseball league will take place on May 8 starting at 9:00 am. The Junior Giants, a flagship program of the San Francisco Giants Community Fund, is a FREE, non-competitive baseball league for boys and girls ages 5-13. The Junior Giants use baseball as a forum to encourage young people and their families to live healthy productive lives. Components of the league include health and nutrition, education, violence prevention and character development.
Register online at gojrgiants.org. Parks & Leisure will not be responsible for any lost registrations that take place before that day. Space is limited for this incredible program so early registration is advised. Registration includes a uniform t-shirt and hat, eight games, plus other incentives. Practices begin in June and games are played in July. All games are played at the Porterville Sports Complex.
