The Tulare County Employment Connection will host the 25th Annual Tulare County Job Fair on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. The Job Fair is from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and will be held at the Visalia Convention Center.
More than 90 businesses and organizations from throughout the Central Valley will have booths and employment opportunities at the Job Fair. Major businesses including Kaweah Delta Healthcare District, Adventist Health, Ruiz Foods and Tulare County Health and Human Services will be in attendance. There will be more than 1,000 job opportunities available at the annual event.
Attending the Job Fair gives job seekers the opportunity to discuss their qualifications and experience with local employers. Job seekers are encouraged to wear professional attire and bring multiple copies of their resume. Interviews will be held on the spot.
In addition to interacting with businesses and organizations, the Tulare County Job Fair also offers attendees the opportunity to participate in speed interviews and resume review courtesy of the Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM). Job seekers will also have the opportunity to network with job placement organizations, educational institutions and military representatives.
“The Tulare County Job Fair is the largest in the area and is a great setting for job seekers and employers to interact with each other,” said Craig Plath, co-chairman of the Tulare County Job Fair planning committee. “This year’s job fair has a wide variety of businesses, organizations and training services available to attendees.”
The Job Fair is free to all participants. Priority of Service will be observed allowing Veterans to enter the Job Fair at 9:00 am and the public can enter at 9:30 am.
