Cambria’s Traditional Picnic in the Park is held all day in Shamel Park including a waiter race, organized and individualized games, a pie eating contest, and dancing to a live band. There will be a variety of food, beverage and activity booths. The day starts with opening ceremonies by American Legion Post 432 at 11 am.
Rather than fireworks, which poses a danger during these drought conditions, a ‘Cambria Pops’ concert will be starting at 7 pm. The Pops concert will feature the big-band sound by the 17 piece Royal Gardens Swing Orchestra, and will feature a number of patriotic songs and marches.
While Cambria is a fun and fabulous village with memorable people and places, for the 4th of July it is even more special. Whatever you choose to do, it is going to be full of memories as Cambria truly is one of a kind. It’s a place locals care for and you are invited to do the same.
Well-known for being the home to Heart Castle, Cambria is little more than two hours from the South Valley.
