The previously planned Buzz Con event has been cancelled, as per a statement released by an organizer:

We regret to inform everyone the Buzz Con event has been canceled due to health issues. being very short staffed and having a issue with a agent I have decide to cancel this event I’m not going to jeopardize my best friends health and mine over this. we just cant do it with being so short staffed and losing 2 partners backing out in less then a month. main reason is health issue. im not a event coordinator JChris is and with his health issue he is very limited to work. in a few minutes i will be refunding the few vendors we had and the tickets sales it usally takes 4 to 5 working days to be back on your credit card im very sorry this has happened i was looking forward to it. Where are the refunds promised to the Vendors? I was told twice over a week that my refund was in the works…7 days…the event was cancelled the night before the event on Sept 12th. I hope I wasn’t dammed. Who were the promoters? Joe Chris and Jason ? If you know how to reach these persons, please let me know.
