The overall project will take nine months to complete and will add additional exam rooms to the health center and support the organization’s team-based, patient-centered health home model.
“We are very excited about moving forward with this renovation and increasing access to services for our patients,” said Kerry Hydash, FHCN president and CEO.
The health center will remain open during the renovation and continue to offer services during its regular business hours, 7am to 9pm Monday-Friday, and 8am to 5pm Saturday.
Family HealthCare Network is a private nonprofit organization that operates federally qualified health centers. Its mission is to provide quality healthcare to the communities it serves. FHCN operates 17 sites, of which 13 are community health centers located in Tulare and Kings counties.
